Our story
Since 1972, we've taken
the long view.
Dr. Roger J. Wendel opened the practice on NE 40th Street in Vancouver after earning his degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1969. Five and a half decades later, he still walks the halls of the same office — now joined by a team of six dentists and five hygienists.
The roster covers everything most patients ever need under one roof: general dentistry, a board-certified prosthodontist, a periodontist and implant specialist, and an endodontics resident. Most of our hygienists have been with us for more than a decade — Shelley since 1988, Nancy since 1998 — and that continuity is the quiet thing that makes a dental visit feel less like an appointment and more like catching up with someone who already knows you.
